The actual origin

Fresh catnip exposed the entire system.

A household wanted fresh “cat bud” without paying a recurring premium. That small use case immediately connected propagation, attention, water, shade, animal use, tools, local supply, care burden, memory, and continuity. The fabric widened from there.
